Pinewood Derby @ Windsor Elementary Cafeteria

This year’s Pinewood Derby is Saturday, January 25, 2020, at the Windsor Elementary Cafeteria. Registration begins at 9:00am (see Derby Info for more information), with racing beginning at 10:00am.

A few years ago we adjusted our rules to better align with the Yahara District rules. Most of the rules are the same as they always have been, but please review our rules by clicking below. A few highlights of more recent rules changes: wheels may be lightly polished or sanded; and, no object may be placed between the axle head and the wheel — or between the wheel and the car body (no washers, bearings, bushings, sleeves, etc.).

Blue & Gold Banquet @ Windsor Elementary Cafeteria

Blue-GoldThis year’s Blue and Gold banquet is being held on February 16th at the Windsor Elementary Cafeteria.

This is also the place for the annual PARENT-SCOUT CAKE BAKE. Get creative and think of the coolest cake you can imagine, then make it happen! There will be a live auction of the cakes to benefit DANN!  New Cake Bake Rules and Certificate will be added soon!

Leaders are to arrive at 1:00 pm.

Everyone will help with cleanup.

Pack Graduation & Family Campout @ Lloyd Dillon Scout Camp, Cambridge.

We’ll kick off the Summer Activities with our annual Pack 155 Family Campout. The campout is always a great time, and Scouts will enjoy a special campfire “graduation” ceremony as they move on to their next rank for the Scout Year next fall.  Uniform:  Class B for daytime activities, Class A for graduation ceremony

The fun starts on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.  Pitch your tent at the Lloyd Dillon Scout Camp and bring the whole family for an afternoon of outdoor activities and an evening of playing under the stars.  We’ll have a family potluck before gathering around the campfire as our scouts “crossover” to their next rank in scouting!  Our newly minted Webelos will treat us to breakfast Sunday morning after our pack worship service.

We will be making foil dinners on the charcoal grill.  The pack will provide the meat.  Please sign up for one of the vegetable add-ins or a dish to pass.  We will also need a few additional charcoal grills and tables.  Bring your own camp chairs and water bottles/family-friendly beverages.

This year’s campout is at the Lloyd Dillon Scout Camp, W9458 HWY 18, Cambridge.

Details for the Pack 155 Family Campout:

| RESPONSIBILITIES |

— Tables and Chairs Each family attending should plan to their own lawn chairs.  Each den should bring at least 2 tables.

— Saturday Night Dinner The Pack will supply meat for the foil packs dinners. Each family should bring their own drinks and a dish to pass for a pack-wide potluck. (signup below)

— Sunday Breakfast The new Webelos patrol (previously Bears) will be responsible the Sunday morning breakfast preparation and clean-up.  Parents will meet on 5/19 at 5:30pm at the Scout House for a planning meeting.

2:00 PM — Arrival and camp setup. Please bring your own tent and overnight supplies.

3:00 PM — Free time (games, nature hike, etc.)

5:00 PM — Pack Cookout

6:00 PM — Campfire Program (opening ceremony, den skits, leader skit, advancement ceremony, closing ceremony)

8:00 PM — Free time

10:00 PM — Retire to your tents

10:30 PM — LIGHTS OUT

DIRECTIONS TO LLOYD DILLION SCOUT CAMP |

Continue on Hwy 18 through Cambridge heading out of town.  The driveway to the camp is about 1 mile beyond the Piggly Wiggly.  You CANNOT see the camp from Hwy 18.  The driveway will be on the left side of the highway between two houses – look for the Pack 155 yard signs.
