C.I.T. Brings the F-U-N

Camp Indian Trails near Janesville was the scene for the Webelos I resident camp this past weekend. And man, did the boys and their dads and moms have fun!

From the more traditional activities like bb guns and archery with some swimming and a climbing wall mixed in, the boys also had a great time with some newer activities inspired by the new scouting program books, like the “Castaway” session that featured learning some survival skills.

Then when you toss in slushees and the huge hillside slip-n-slide, well, that pretty much guaranteed there truly WAS something for everybody (even plenty of poison ivy to keep you sharp and aware).

Despite a brief afternoon thunderstorm on Monday, the weather was great, allowing the boys to have a very memorable experience while earning their first Adventure Pins.
