Helping Out
Written by Pack155 on April 12, 2015
It’s been a busy couple weeks for Pack 155 families with multiple opportunities to help our community. Scouts and families volunteered to help distribute flyers door-to-door for the annual food drive, and then followed up the next week collecting thousands of food items from the doorsteps for another incredibly successful Scouting for Food effort. Thanks so much to all the scouts and family members who volunteered their time and also to the Windsor community for turning out with such generous donations.
Pack 155 also took advantage of the nicer weather this weekend by cleaning up the Windsor Elementary Butterfly Garden. A group of 32 volunteers put in a combined 48 hours of service work on clearing the winter debris at the popular WES garden.
Thanks again to all the families who helped out with these important causes and for showing our sons what it means to be part of a community. Be proud, Pack 155!
