Blue & Gold 2012
Written by Pack155 on January 18, 2012
The Annual Pack 155 Blue & Gold Banquet is Sunday, January 22 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie with games beginning at 2:30 (please begin to gather and register cakes by 2:00). Set-up begins at 1:00 and I would appreciate anyone that would be able to come and help out with the setup. Click here for event info and Google Map link.
For those that have not attended the Blue & Gold Banquet before, it is essentially a special Pack Meeting where we celebrate the anniversary of the Pack and thank Pack leaders and other adults who have helped the pack and inspired leaders, Scouts, and parents. Pack 155 would like to especially invite former members and other Scouting or community leaders to take part in our banquet. I would like to put out a special request to those parents of boys who are now Boy Scouts. If your Boy Scout is availed for our banquet please have them come and I would like to have them speak at the banquet about what they like about Boy Scouts. If you have a Boy Scout that would like to attend please let me know.
Of course, the biggest event of the banquet is the Cake Auction. Over the years cub scouts and their Dad’s/Step-Dad’s/Guardians have come up with some very fun and creative cakes. Please bring that creativity to this years banquet. The cake can be of any size or shape but it must be 100% edible.
A formal agenda will follow soon and be available at the banquet be here is a brief overview.
