On May 12 we posted some information about a fishing jamboree in Lake Delton. We now have more complete information regarding the June 5 Jamboree. Below is detailed information and a link to the registration form for this 1st Annual event that is hoping to attract Scouts and their families. 1st Annual Lake Delton Youth Fishing Jamboree
June 5th 2010, 9am – 1pm
Opening and closing ceremonies Kaminski Park in Lake Delton, WI

Fishing to take place on:
• Lake Delton (on boats by lottery draw at opening ceremonies)
• Mirror Lake (from shoreline areas at park)
• Lower WI River (shore fishing by River’s Edge Bait and Tackle)

Participants:
• Youth in general — girls and boys up to 15 years old accompanied by an adult or parent
• Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts troops, other clubs, etc.

Jamboree Format and Themes:
‘’Catch, Record and Release’’, ‘’Learn to Fish’’, ‘’Youth Fisheries Biologist’’; “ YFB Clinics”; ‘’Shore Lunch’’ themes. Youth will: (1) catch fish; (2) record fish species & length; (3) release fish.

Cost: FREE
Wisconsin Free Fishing Weekend. ‘’Shore Lunch’’ cook out will be provided for registered youth entrants. Accompanying families, parents and guardians, please bring your own lunch.

Fishing Gear & Bait:
Plan to bring your own fishing gear & bait.

Gift Drawings:
Gift bags will be handed out for ALL kids and drawings will be held for gifts donated by event sponsors. There is a VERY good chance FREE Water Park passes will be handed out to youth participants! …
