What You Need to Know: FEB 2010

Written by Pack155 on February 5, 2010

100 Years, that’s a long time. And that’s what kicked off the 2010 Blue & Gold Banquet — some thoughts about the founders of Scouting in a celebration of 100 Years of Scouting. The Blue & Gold January Pack Meeting also saw Wall-E make an appearance, courtesy of Trevor Geertz and his first place winning cake. Now, here’s what you need to know so far for February 2010 (and beyond) for Pack 155. To make it easier, just sign up for automatic updates.

HEALTH FORMS must be in at Pinewood Derby

Due to the health forms needing to be updated annually (previously they were good for 3 years) ALL SCOUTS must turn in their updated Health Forms at the Pinewood Derby. Please do not forget this. The form can be downloaded from the Forms page (it’s listed first). Up-to-date Adult Health Forms are also needed, so please submit forms for adults attending or assisting with Scouting events. Adults can use the same “Scout Health Form”…

Friends of Scouting Also Due

Also due at the Pinewood Derby is your Friends of Scouting forms and/or your pledge. Please bring your completed form and turn it in to Jay. Checks can be made to “Glacier’s Edge BSA”, or credit cards are accepted and there are also billing options with various payment plans. Any amount is great, and even if you are unable to make a pledge, please turn in your form either way.

CAMPOUT DATE CHANGE

The Annual Pack 155 Campout at Token Creek has been moved to a week later than originally planned. The Overnight Campout will now take place Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13. More information will be posted later, but put the 12th and 13th on your calendar.

Remember, to submit your scouting photos, visit the Submit Den News Page and use the easy online form to upload your photos. If you have any trouble, contact the webmaster for help.
