WRIGHT!! No, wait … LEFT!! WRIGHT!! LEFT!! That’s what the Scouts were yelling as they tried to keep up with the “Wright Family Story” during the Annual Ornament Pass at the December Pack Meeting that featured the Indian Patrol earning their Arrow of Light. Now, here’s what you need to know for January 2010 (and beyond) for Pack 155. Each month, look for “What You Need to Know” on Pack155.com… to make it easy, just sign up for automatic updates.

A Night at the Rodeo

Friday, January 15 at 7:30 pm is the All-Star Rodeo Challenge at the Alliant Energy Center (in the Coliseum). For those scouts and adults who signed up, your tickets will be at the Will Call and Denny will be there to meet you beginning at 5:30. If you have not already paid, please bring a check in the amount you owe payable to Pack 155. Scouts tickets are free, adults $10.25 per ticket and children are $5.25. If you have any questions, contact Denny Dobson or call 846-1907. Please have Scouts wear their Class A uniforms.

BLUE & GOLD Banquet, January 17

To Celebrate 100 Years of Scouting, join us at the Annual Blue & Gold Banquet at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 300 Broadway Dr., Sun Prairie (across from Wisconsin Cheeseman), on Sunday, January 17, beginning at 3:00. The Banquet will again be pot luck, and den assignments are as follows:

– Main dishes: Den 3, Den 4
– Salads & Vegetable Dishes: Den 7, Den 8
– Desserts: Den 2, Den 5

• • Bake a Cake for the Banquet!

As part of the Blue & Gold Banquet, it’s time for the annual Father & Son Cake Bake. These cakes are always crazy and cool, so get creative and see if you can be voted the top prize! Rules are below:

1. Cake must be made by Father and Son ONLY (or “honorary father/guardian” and son).
2. Cake must be edible!
3. Cake may be made from scratch or a mix.
4. Please put cake on non-returnable plate.
5. When you’re done, kitchen must be cleaned by Father/Son team.
6. Hand in the cake Certificate with your cake (you should have received your certificate at the December Pack Meeting).
