REGISTRATION ROUND-UP

Monday, Sept. 14 at 6:45 pm is the 2009 Pack 155 Registration Round-up for new scouts at the Windsor Elementary School Cafeteria. If your son is a Scout already, you do not have to attend this meeting. This is for new Scout registration. Please help pass the word about the Scout Round-up. Mention it to other parents you know, your son’s friends. Our scouts & parents witness first-hand how awesome and fun Scouting can be for our sons. You guys can be our best recruiters. Let’s make sure every boy in Windsor is aware of the great opportunities with Scouting!

Your Den Leaders will be giving your son a card that he can give to his best friend (that isn’t already a Scout). This card is an invitation to the Registration Round-up. If the boy he gives the card to turns the card in at the Round-up, your son will receive his Recruiter patch and the new Scout will get a special BSA surprise…

First Pack Meeting, Sept 20

Sunday, Sept. 20 at 3:00 pm we will have our first Pack Meeting at the Windsor Fireman’s Park shelter. Set-up will begin at 2:00 pm. If you thought last year’s popcorn Olympics were awesome, wait to see what we have in store this year! We will have snacks and a whole lot of information about the upcoming Scout year. Please bring some type of snack to share: cheese, fruit, dessert, etc.

Our Popcorn Kernel, Dawn Maier, will be there to give you the scoop on the popcorn sale starting on September 26.

There is an awesome new popcorn sales incentive being offered to Scouts by the Council this year. Whenever a Scout fills up a sheet, he can turn a copy into the Council and his name will be entered into a drawing for a Nintendo Wii system. There will be a drawing each week. All names will stay in the drawing if they are not drawn, so they will be eligible to win every week. Dawn will have the specifics of this program at the Pack Meeting.

B R E A K I N G N E W S ! Scouts who fill a full sheet on his popcorn order form will get a “Marshmallow Blaster”!! (limit one per scout)
