• SAFETY

Remember for safety sake, no boy can leave camp early without authorization by the parents to the camp director. This authorization spells out to whom the child can be released and when.

Anyone in camp MUST have camp identification. Parents attending for the day will need a class one medical form completed and on file with the health officer.

The play structure and walls are off limits during camp.

• EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Camp director will go over emergency procedures with campers and camp coordinators on the first day of camp.

• LEAVING CAMP

No camper should leave camp property. Scouts who need to leave prior to their Unit’s departure must submit a completed Scout Release Form to the Camp Director or Registration Table. Scouts and Scouters MUST sign out whenever leaving camp property and sign in when arriving. A Scout Release Form will be available at camp.

• VISITORS

All visitors must notify the Camp Director and sign in at the registration area at Shelter 5.

• ADVANCEMENT AT CAMP

Many of the activities campers participate in correspond to various achievements, electives and activity badges. At the end of the week, campers will receive a list of activities and projects they may have participated in. The list should be reviewed with the boy by a person who then may record the boy’s progress in his handbook. As always, the final criteria for awarding credit should be: “Did he do his best?”

• INCLEMENT WEATHER

Everyone should bring a raincoat / poncho to camp in case of rain. Camp runs regardless of the weather! We have rainy-day programs to run if regular camp areas can’t be open. In case of severe storms, we will follow our emergency procedures.

• MEDICATIONS

All medication must be turned in to the First Aid Officer at check-in. Medications must be in original container, with doctor’s instructions on them. State law requires that a Camp Prescription Medical Form be filled out for each person with medication.

• HEALTH & SAFETY

Token Creek Camp maintains a well equipped First Aid Station with a qualified Camp Health Officer on duty at all times. Most accidents and minor illnesses are effectively handled here. Any accidents or illnesses (boys/leaders) must be reported in the Camp First Aid Station.

• CAMP STAFF

Token Creek is an ALL VOLUNTEER CAMP. By choosing to come to this camp, your pack is committing to help run this camp. We all need to help create meaningful programs for the boys.

How You Can Help: Help set up camp at 1pm on Sunday, June 14; Offer to help run a station.
