Attention to Bears and Webelos that have earned their Whittling Chip.
The Pack Campout is your first opportunity to use your whittling chip education. The Campout is approved for those CARRYING their whittling chip card to use their knives to practice whittling on a stick or piece of wood they find at the campsite. All we ask is that you find an area away from where the younger scouts are playing and be sure to use the safety circle. When done, we ask that you give your knives to your parents and not carry them around while playing. The leaders will be watching for inappropriate use of knives, so be sure to follow all the rules you learned.
