Open Letter to New Scouts and Prospective New Scouts:

Welcome to Pack 155! We’re thrilled you have joined Windsor’s Cub Scout pack. We’re anxious to get your adventure started. Below is some helpful information regarding getting started with Pack 155.

• Registration

Please complete an Application. Complete one for yourself or for the child’s guardian.  This covers a one-time Cub Scouting Registration Fee.

Please know we will never let the registration fee be a barrier to joining Cub Scouts. See Cubmaster Tony Veroeven or any other leader if you would like to discuss this.

• Uniform

You can buy a Cub Scout shirt and/or a Scout Leader shirt at the Scout Store (near the airport). We may not know what Den number your son will be part of until nearer to the September Pack Meeting, but you can buy the shirt, Pack Numbers 1-5-5, a neckerchief slide, and a hat (optional).

We will give your son his book and neckerchief at a future meeting, most likely the September Pack Meeting. (A hat is not required, but when we do an annual uniform inspection, the more complete their uniforms are the higher their score!)

As boys outgrow shirts, sometimes a family might be willing to let their old shirt go. Please contact Tony or any other leader if you need help with this.

• Parent Volunteering

Please click here for our “Parent Talent Survey” (Word doc or PDF). This is intended to let us know what interests and talents you have and how you may be able lend your expertise to assist at the Den or Pack Level. Please bring a completed form to the Registration Roundup, or the September Pack Meeting.

Please consider picking up at least one “job” for the Pack. The Pack just doesn’t “go” without helpful parents willing to volunteer a little of their time. Nothing we do is particularly hard and usually only takes a few hours here and there. But no job or contribution is too small! We really appreciate your active participation. Please talk with any Leader about how you can help. Thanks!
